Cable not working. Not so much that it didn’t work but that I asked 3 people for help and time trying to get it to work. The last person told me they were waiting on a part. No one ever came to my campsite to check. I wasted time trying to get the cable to work when it was never going to work. unable to use indoor pool. Rules not reinforced, Fellow campers music could be heard across campgrou

We had a great time and loved our time there. The restrooms were clean and so were all the other public areas. The staff was competent and friendly. We will probably return at sometime in the future.

It was an amazing experience for my first time camping. There were a lot of activities for the kids and no one got bored. The facilities were super clean. I'm sure I'll be planing my next camping trip with KOA again

Site assigned(163) was too short for 38 foot fifth wheel along with 21 foot pull vehicle..Had to park on grass..Concrete slab on site is uneven and a safety factor..

great destination and customer service. phones systems were down two weeks before arrival no communication. people at the park were very hospitable and kind.

I paid for water views of the pond. We could only see a recycling trailer and a dumpster from our campsite. There is also a fence behind the pond sites. I asked about it at the desk and they said, yes this is a pond view location. Nice place for kids but it was noisy. Pool and facilities were nice outside of that. I'll post my view if allowed on this site.

My husband first KOA (like Disneyland camping), has all the amenities. Disappointed indoor pool and Jacuzzi were not working. Cable was not connected at our site. Employee came and checked but never worked. Employees very nice and social.

We came for a weekend getaway for my friend who turned 47 and had never been camping. With the help of this lovely campground, I think we’ve converted her. We didn’t even leave the campground until we checked out. We fished, tye dyed shirts and made new friends. It was great!! We’ll be back!

Our very first time staying at a KOA and it will definitely not be our last. It was AMAZING!! It had so many amenities that we barely cared to even leave the campground. Cant wait to stay again!!

Had a camper next to us that accidentally dropped black drain all over ground next to us and they moved us to a different location right away! Very responsive

This has always been one of our favorite campgrounds. We've been coming for years and always book and lock in our site for the next year. When we arrived this year, we were told we did not have our lock in site! The person who checked in right before us got that spot (for a Tue-Thurs stay). The site stayed empty after that. It seems the person working at the desk made that mistake. Disappointing!

Every thing was good except the directions to the blue Ridge parkway. I spent 90minutes driving in a circle before I found it on my own. Needless to say I was not happy

This KOA was nice and had a lot to offer. We didn't get to do everything we wanted to due to a short stay, but we will definitely be back again. Loved that the trout ponds and river are on both sides for some great fishing.

We stayed in the "primitive" tent sites, and everything was lovely! The campground is well cared for, the showers and bathrooms are clean, the store had everything we forgot to pack, and all of the employees were wonderful. We loved the amenities and the surrounding area - we will definitely be back to stay longer!

I always love koa Cherokee. I can say that cabin 221 needs a new mattress. I felt like I was sleeping in a bowl. Everything else was good!

Great lodging and accommodations. Pool has been redone since the last time we visited; smaller and lost the water slide. Otherwise, amazing stay. Staff were friendly and helpful. Free wifi!

Great campground! We stayed in log cabin right on the river. Very clean, well-stocked, and perfect for our 3 night romantic get away! We rented a golf cart so we could visit our friends at their RV site. Friendly, knowledgeable, helpful staff. The campground itself was very clean, safe, easy to access, nice gift shop, lots of activities, pools, fishing ponds, grills, fire pits. Will be back ASAP

Had a good stay love the improvements that have been made. The only thing negative I could say is I was not happy with the amount of alcohol on the premises. Beer is one thing but on Saturday they was a large group that actually had a liquor bottles on their tables at the pool at the new covered area by the hot tub. Also seen same group walking the park that night with him in their hands

We love Cherokee Koa, but the last few years we have been really disappointed in the cleanliness of the tiny homes rented. Lack of maintenance and proper cleaning are definitely a struggle at this facility. The staff was super friendly and the location is amazing.

Our "room" was a wide open space between the trees which was plenty of space to set up our cabin tent, with a well-placed fire ring and picnic table. Loved that the fire ring had a built in cooking grate, we definitely put that to use! Kids had lots of amenities they loved - pool, hot tub, river, bouncing pillow and pedal cars. We were probably more active during this vacation than we have been when we stay in hotels! The store had everything we needed, and some things we didn't know we needed, and firewood was delivered directly to our tent site so we didn't have to carry it. Fantastic service, community, and location - we explored the Cherokee village during the day.

We love the Cherokee/Great Smokies KOA. The campground is well kept and the cabin was clean. The staff is friendly and obviously cares about the campground. Our kids loved the creek, the playground, and fishing. It's a great base camp for area exploration; Mingo Falls is so close! The cabin was clean and well stocked with pots/pans, silverware, grilling utensils, plates, cups, and bowls. We will be back! The photos reflect a Deluxe Cabin (Full Bath with Shower) 6 person, near creek. There was a set of bunk beds, a full bath, and a separate bedroom with a full size bed and creek views.
